What is involved in hosting a party?
To host a party, you will need to have available sink(s), enough seating for your participants, a table, and accessible guest parking. A sheet or floor coverage is suggested for protection if worried about floor or carpet.
What locations can you travel to?
CAP will travel to Montgomery County and some areas in Howard County.
Does CAP have a studio to hold services?
No, all services (private lessons, birthday parties, and workshops) ran by CAP, will travel to you, in the comfort of your own home.
Is alcohol welcome during a workshop?
Yes! You are welcome to have a “Sip & Clay” party or workshop, bringing your own beverages.
We recommend being mindful of glassware around the projects.
Do I take my pieces home after the workshop?
No, not the day of. Pieces will be glazed and fired by your instructor, and then returned to the host’s location.
You should receive you pieces within 3-4 weeks and will be notified via email when ready for pickup.
How do I schedule a workshop or lesson?
In order to schedule, go to our contact page and select a date+time for our initial consultation via Google Meet. During our consultation we will lock in a date for the lesson or workshop.
What is the cancelation policy?
We kindly ask that any workshop cancellations be made at least 7 days in advance prior to your scheduled date.
What is the minimum and maximum amount of people for a party or workshop?
The minimum amount of people required to schedule a party or workshop is 5, maximum is 12.
We ask that you please let us know about headcount updates at least 24 hours prior to the event so that there are
enough tools and clay provided by the host.
What should I wear during a lesson or workshop?
We provide aprons, however, we do recommend you wearing appropriate clothing for a relatively messy activity.
How long does a lesson or workshop typically last?
Lessons and workshops tend to run two hours.

Workshop Arrival
Please ask everyone attending to arrive 15 minutes before the start time. This allows for the workshop to start on time.
Pets
We suggest that any pets are kept in a separate area during workshops or lessons.
